Auditions for Our 2011-2012 Season

Laboratory Dancers seeks advanced/creative dancers for our ’11-’12 Season. There will be performances at the Viaduct Theater, lofts, galleries and a final concert in Spring, 2012.

We are a local inclusive artist collective who emphasize an experiential process to kinesthetic exploration. While we are trained in modern and ballet, our style is evolving as we experiment with weight and memory. We love partnering with other artists. In the past we have worked with rappers, painters, photographers, videographers, actors and multimedia artists. This season we are partnering with Sam Hertz, a data genius, and the Fulton Street Collective.

Rehearsals will be approximately 6 hours per week and run through April. Schedules will be finalized pending availability of dancers. Rehearsals will most likely be weekday evenings from 7-10pm at the hollow (2515 S. Archer).

We encourage choreographers to perform with us, as there are often opportunities for them to show work.
